Micro-enterprise, sole trader, MDA or AGESSA — France

A micro-enterprise, sole trader, MDA or AGESSA status in France provides an identity document, a vigilance certificate and an INPI certificate.

  • Passport, national identity card, driving licence issued from 1994 onwards, or residence permit. The profile name matches the document.
  • URSSAF vigilance certificate. urssaf.fr. Example.
  • INPI certificate, often collected automatically. Otherwise a certificate under 3 months old from data.inpi.fr. The company name matches. Example.

EIRL, EURL, SA, SARL, SAS, SASU or société civile — France

A company in France provides an identity document, a vigilance certificate, an INPI certificate, signed articles and beneficial-owner information.

  • Passport, national identity card, driving licence issued from 1994 onwards, or residence permit. The profile name matches the document.
  • URSSAF vigilance certificate. urssaf.fr. Example.
  • INPI certificate under 3 months old from data.inpi.fr. The company name matches. Example.
  • Complete articles of association, dated and signed. Every page. Your full name shows you are the majority shareholder or the legal representative. Infogreffe or Pappers.

A natural person is named president on the INPI certificate. If the president is a company, add each related certificate until a natural person is identified.

A freelancer on an umbrella, SCOP or SCIC in France does not upload that organisation's documents. The umbrella company provides them.
