How do I leave an external recommendation on a freelancer’s profile?
When a freelancer creates a profile on Malt, they are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible to attract potential clients.
Recommendations are a great way for freelancers to build trust with project managers. When a freelancer requests an external recommendation from you, you will receive an email invitation. Simply click the link to begin.
You’ll be asked to fill in several fields:
• Your company name
• Your job title
• Your comment or feedback for the freelancer’s profile
Before the recommendation is published, we’ll ask for your full name and email address to create a customer account. This helps us verify the authenticity of external recommendations. Rest assured, this information will not be used for marketing purposes.
How to leave a review at the end of a project
A freelancer’s reputation is important, and Malt enables them to showcase their skills and build their profile online. Reviews from clients who have trusted them help freelancers grow their business and strengthen their reputation.
Leaving a review after a project improves a freelancer’s ranking in Malt’s search results and is crucial for advancing in the Super Malter program.
Once you mark a project as completed, there’s no time limit to leave a review. However, after submitting your review, you have 30 days to edit or update it.
You can modify your review up to one month after the project ends, in line with our T&C's
