My account settings – Malt

Change my first and/or last name
You can choose how your Malt identity is displayed. To manage this, go to your account settings from the side menu in your Malt account and select the “Settings” section.
If you use a pseudonym, it will appear only on your public profile. However, your full name and surname will always be shown on your invoices, as provided in your legal information.

Modify my Email
To modify the email associated with your Malt account, you must go to your account settings > Email section.

You will have to enter your password to be able to make the change. If you are connected with your Google or Facebook account, you will have to enter the password associated with that account.

Modify / Add my phone number

To modify or add your phone number, enter the "Settings" section and click on the "Phone" tab.

Make sure you correctly indicate the country code that corresponds to you. To save the information, you will have to enter your password.

How to stop appearing in search engines (Google, Bing, etc.)
To remove your profile from search engines, go to “Settings,” select the “Privacy” section, and disable the option. Please note that this change is not immediate, and search engines may take up to three weeks to update their results.

Malt Strategy profiles will never be visible in search engines, as it is a category not open to direct searches on Malt's marketplace

How to manage my notifications?

To manage your notifications, go to the “Settings” section and open the “Notifications” tab.
From there, you can enable or disable alerts related to your activity and network, messages, projects and payments, events and news, as well as tips and updates about Malt services from our team.

Please note that some notifications are mandatory and cannot be turned off, such as updates to our General Conditions or communications from our Support, Accounting, or Moderation teams.

Delete my account
To delete your account, go to your Settings section and click on the “Delete my account” tab. We will ask you to indicate the reason for your departure, once done, a red button will appear at the bottom of the page to confirm the deletion of your account.

Once done, your account, your profile, your identification and browsing data and, if applicable, as well as the comments and recommendations you have left or received will be eliminated from our databases. All your information will also be removed from our email databases.
