What is it about?
Malt is launching a new feature allowing freelancers with disabilities to register and verify their RQTH (Reconnaissance de la Qualité de Travailleur Handicapé – Official Disability Status) status. This feature is intended for freelancers with a registered SIRET number in France.
The goal of this feature is to foster a more inclusive and transparent environment:
Autonomy and control: You are in full control of your personal data and choose exactly how visible you want your status to be.
Dedicated opportunities: It facilitates connections between freelancers with disabilities and companies committed to inclusive practices or looking to meet their CSR and inclusive procurement goals.
Security & Trust: Just like with your legal documents, Malt verifies the validity of your supporting documents to ensure data reliability for clients.
How does it work?
Adding your RQTH status to Malt is simple and secure via your profile settings:
Upload of the document: Go to Company Settings > RQTH to upload your valid MDPH decision notification.
Verification by the Malt team: Malt's teams review the compliance and validity of the submitted document. The document remains strictly confidential and is never shared with clients.
-
Choosing your visibility level: You select the level of sharing that works best for you:
Share your RQTH status with Malt teams only.
Publish your RQTH status on your public Malt profile to highlight your status and attract clients specifically looking for inclusive talent.
Update at any time: You can edit your visibility preferences or remove your status whenever you wish directly from your settings.
FAQ
Data Privacy & Control
Is it mandatory to declare my RQTH status on Malt?
No, absolutely not. Declaring your RQTH status is 100% optional and entirely voluntary.
Can clients see my supporting document?
Never. Your official document is only viewed by Malt's moderation team to verify the authenticity of your request. It is never shared with or downloadable by third parties or clients.
Is my status visible to clients by default?
No. The public badge will only appear on your profile if you explicitly choose to activate it in your settings.
Can I change my mind and hide my RQTH badge later?
Yes. You retain full control at all times. If you prefer to hide your badge after displaying it, simply update your visibility options in your profile settings.
Impact on Projects & Bias
What are the benefits of displaying this badge on my profile?
Displaying the badge makes you instantly visible to enterprise clients, mid-market companies, and SMEs conducting responsible procurement campaigns or working toward disability inclusion targets and legal requirements.
What benefit do I get from sharing my status only with the Malt teams?
Your status remains invisible to clients. However, the Malt team can take this information into account to tailor support or assist you if specific accommodations are needed during a project. You retain the freedom to inform your client of your status whenever you feel it is most appropriate.
Supporting Documents & Verification
Which documents are accepted to prove my status?
A valid MDPH decision notification (notification de décision MDPH).
What happens when my RQTH certificate expires?
You will receive a reminder to upload your renewal document. If the document is not updated, your status and associated badge will automatically be deactivated to maintain platform compliance. A reminder is sent 30 days prior to expiration.
