End-of-project reviews
Reviews are left by clients with whom you’ve completed a project on Malt. At the end of the project, they can give you a rating from 1 to 5 stars and add a comment. For time-based projects, a review can only be given once the project is finished—for example, if a project lasts 6 months, you’ll only receive the review at the end of those 6 months. If a project is canceled, no review can be left since it is not considered completed.
Your average rating appears on your profile, in search results, and in client conversations, which increases your visibility. To earn the Super Malter badge, you must maintain an average rating of at least 4.5.
Keep in mind that clients have 30 days after the project ends to leave a review. Once this deadline has passed, it is no longer possible to add or modify a rating.
Recommendations
In addition to reviews, you can also receive external recommendations on Malt from clients or colleagues you’ve worked with outside the platform. All you need to do is enter their email address, write a personalized message, and send the request. The person will then receive a link to your profile along with a short form to recommend you.
For each request, three notifications are sent (immediately, on day 4, and on day 15). The link is personal and can only be used by the invited person. To leave a recommendation, they will need to create a Malt account. Recommendations cannot be edited but can be deleted by the client at any time. Malt does not use the collected email addresses for commercial purposes.
