How can I see which freelancers have been chosen by users in my company?
With Malt, you can easily view freelancers who have already worked with your company or who are recommended by your colleagues. As a user with access to your company’s account, you can see all freelancers associated with your organization—whether they’ve worked with your colleagues through Malt or not—as well as those your colleagues have added to their favourites.
Using the “Your freelancers” filter, you can narrow your talent search to freelancers who have previously worked with your company.
On each freelancer’s profile, you can:
• Check if they are currently working or have worked with your company, including when and with whom, so you know if they’re familiar with your organization and processes.
• Review the feedback and ratings left on Malt to see how previous projects with that freelancer went—or simply ask your colleagues for their input.
• See if your colleagues have marked the freelancer as a favourite.
Who can view this list?
All members of your company have access to view these freelancers.
Who are my company’s freelancers?
They include all freelancers connected to you, your team, or your organization:
• Freelancers currently working with your company through Malt.
• Freelancers who have completed projects with your company via Malt.
• Freelancers who have added experience with your company outside of Malt.
• Freelancers favored by your colleagues.
If you want to bring all the freelancers you work with into one place, use Malt Open to centralize all your freelancers on Malt.
How can I share my freelancer lists with colleagues?
You have three ways to share your freelancer lists:
• Click the share icon.
• Copy and paste the list URLs.
• Email the freelancer list directly to your team members.
These lists are collaborative tools where everyone on the team can:
• Add freelancers to existing lists.
• Rate profiles with thumbs up or down.
• Leave comments on profiles.
• Suggest ongoing projects.
Roles on Malt
As a company, you can invite multiple users to join your team, enabling collaboration on finding freelancers, managing projects, and sharing your freelancer pool.
Each team member is assigned one of two roles: Administrator or User.
By default, new team members invited to Malt are Users. A team can have multiple Administrators.
Administrators have access to an overview of the entire team and can manage settings.
Users have access only to their own activities and projects.
If a project manager is going on leave, they can transfer the Administrator role to someone taking over, allowing that person to manage freelancers in their absence.
How can I manage my colleagues’ access to Malt?
As an Administrator, you can control who has access to the team member list and decide which team members have permission to add or remove people from the team.
You can manage these settings by going to the company menu on Malt > Team Members, where you select your company to edit user roles (Administrator or User).
The person who creates the team is automatically assigned the Account Owner role with Administrator privileges, and this role cannot be changed.
