Sign our freelancer charter
The freelancer charter brings together Malt's values and all the rules and best practices of the Malt community.
Once the charter is accepted, your commitment to Malt's values and guarantee of your professionalism will be highlighted in the "Verifications" block on your profile and visible to clients. Signing the charter reassures clients and encourages them to contact you with projects.
If a freelancer displays false information or subcontracts the mission to someone else, Malt will take action to enforce this charter, which may result in profile moderation or lower search ranking.
How do I receive projects on Malt?
Malt is a direct matchmaking platform — no job postings are published. Clients contact freelancers via Malt messaging to propose projects, which freelancers can accept or decline depending on their availability.
Once a project is accepted, the freelancer sends a proposal or quote for client approval. The project starts as soon as the quote is validated.
If you are part of the Malt Strategy community, clients cannot contact you directly. Proposals will always be pre-selected by our recruitment consulting team, who will contact you to see if you are interested and available.
