What actions do I need to take during registration?
Provide your personal and professional information
When registering, we ask you to provide information that will allow us to:
To contact you when you receive a relevant project
To put you in touch with clients who are looking for your skills

Know your legal status
To work on Malt and receive your payments, several conditions must be met:
A legal status is mandatory (whether self-employed, or a registered company such as an SAS). You can also register if your company is in the process of registration but you will only receive the funds when your legal documents have been uploaded and validated
Be over 18 or be an emancipated minor
Sign our freelance charter:
The freelance charter brings together the values of Malt and all the rules and best practices of the Malt community.
Once the charter has been accepted, your adherence to Malt's values and the guarantee of your professionalism will be highlighted in the “Verifications” block of your profile and can be consulted by customers. Signing the charter reassures clients and aims to encourage clients to contact you to offer you assignments.
If a freelancer posts false information or outsources the assignment to another person, Malt will take steps to enforce this policy, which may result in profile moderation or downgrading in search results.
How to receive projects on Malt?
Malt is a platform for direct contact at the initiative of customers: there are no ads posted on the site.
Customers will contact you directly, via Messaging, to offer you a project that you are free to accept or refuse depending on your availability and your current projects.
You can send them in return a commercial proposal/quote which will be validated by the customer.
The mission can begin.
As soon as the estimate has been validated by the client, the mission can begin.
