What is a project quote on Malt?

A project quote on Malt is essentially a 100% online scope of work that outlines all of the tasks—and their related fees—associated with a given client's project.

Once a quote is accepted by the client, it becomes an in-progress project. Up until the moment the freelancer marks the project complete, the quote (turned project) can be modified based on changes to the scope of work requested by or negotiated with the client.

Once the freelancer marks the project complete, the quote can no longer be modified and a final invoice will be issued to the client.
