Can I get reimbursed for a prepaid project that was never completed?

The short answer is, yes.

If the freelancer cancels the project—for example, if they've had a change in availability and no longer can tackle the project—the prepaid project fees will be transferred to your Malt digital wallet.

From here, you have the option to either transfer the funds to your bank account or save them in your digital wallet for use on future projects. Should you decide to make a transfer, please note that it typically takes between 3-5 days for the funds to reach your bank account.

Additionally, in the event of a dispute with the freelancer, leading to the project being canceled, you can still be reimbursed for the prepaid project fees. The process to do so in this case is just slightly different.
