How can I stop receiving project proposals on Malt?

Whether your project pipeline is jam-packed at the moment or you've decided to take a momentary break from freelancing, it's really easy to hide your freelancer profile from appearing in Malt search results.

All you need to do is change your availability to "Unavailable."

To do this, go to your freelancer profile and click on the "Edit my availability" button in the upper right of your profile header. Simply click on "No" as the response to the question: "Are you available to receive project proposals?"

This will ensure your profile does not appear in Malt search results—that is, until you decide to change your availability down the road.

It's important to note that Malt gives you a lot of options to tailor your availability based on your work needs. For example, if you'd like to keep your profile visible but only be considered for smaller, short-term projects, you can select "1 day per week" as your availability.
