What's the difference between a recommendation and a client review?

Here's an easy way to look at this:

  • Client Review: At the end of every project you complete on Malt, both you and your client have the option to leave each other a rating and a review. Therefore, when we talk about "client reviews," we talk about any instance in which a client you've worked with on Malt says something about your work following the completion of a project. These reviews are also accompanied by a personal photo or company logo that each of your clients has associated with their account on Malt.

  • Recommendation: These are not related to any projects you've done on Malt. They can come from past clients, colleagues, and other trusted people within your professional network – whether or not those people have accounts on Malt. You can request a recommendation at any time.
