How do I stop my profile from appearing in search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.)?
If you are a part-time freelancer and would like to remain anonymous outside of Malt, you can choose to keep your profile from appearing in search engine results (Google, Bing, etc.).
To do this, go to Account > Confidentiality and then uncheck the box associated with that option.
Keep in mind that it may take 15 days before search engines will recognize that you've made this change. Unfortunately, this is how search engines crawl websites and is completely out of our control.
