How do I mark a project complete?
This is really easy!
Here's how to mark a project complete:
Go to your account dashboard.
Select the project.
Click on "Mark the project complete."
What happens after you mark a project complete?
Two scenarios are possible here:
If you've prepaid project fees, the funds being held in your Malt account will immediately be released to the freelancer. The only exception here is if a modification was made while a project was in progress that increased total project fees—in which case, you'll need to pay the balance before funds will be released to the freelancer.
If you have not prepaid project fees, a payment window will pop up giving you the option to pay by bank transfer or credit or debit card.
