Can I do work on Malt if I'm a minor (under 18 years of age)? 🇫🇷
Malt's Terms and Conditions specify that anyone doing work on the platform must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to perform the professional activities being promoted via their freelancer profile.
If you are under the age of 18 and would like to do work via the Malt platform, you must meet certain requirements. In France, for example, you must be emancipated in order to create an EIRL(aka, micro-entreprise) as a minor.
🇫🇷 For France: Because this is a special circumstance, there is no automated way to sign up on Malt as an emancipated minor. Therefore, we'll need you to provide us with a number of documents to help us manually verify your identity and legal status, including:
Valid identification (national ID card, passport, residency document)
Emancipation order stating the decision by the guardianship judge
