What is the AI Profile Summary?
The AI Profile Summary is designed to highlight your expertise and strengths.
It gives clients a clear, professional overview of your main skills, types of projects, and soft skills — including what others have said about you in recommendations and reviews.
Where does the information come from? The summary is automatically generated from the freelancer’s existing profile data, with priority given to the most relevant sections:

Skills attached to experiences are especially helpful — they allow the AI to better estimate your level of mastery and the number of years of experience for each skill.
How can I improve my AI summary? To make sure the AI captures the most valuable information about you, keep your profile optimized and complete:
• Add clear, detailed descriptions of your experiences. • Attach the right skills to each experience. • Keep your reviews and recommendations up to date. • Write a precise and structured “About” section.
Each time you update your profile, the AI summary will refresh (please note it can take up to 30 minutes for updates to appear).

Import your data from LinkedIn or your Resume You can enrich your Malt profile using your LinkedIn profile or CV. • Click “Add an experience” • Select “Import work experience from LinkedIn or CV” • Upload your file — and we’ll do the rest! From LinkedIn: 1. Log in to your LinkedIn account and open your profile. 2. Click “More” > “Save as PDF.” 3. Upload the saved file to Malt.
Experience To add the company you worked for, simply select its name from the list of options, and your experience will automatically be linked to that entity. If you wish to change the order of your experiences, you can easily drag and drop them using the three bars located on the right-hand side.
Each description must contain at least 100 characters, but we recommend aiming for 300 to provide a clearer showcase of your work and impact.
Adding at least one relevant skill per experience is also essential, as it connects your expertise to the projects you’ve completed and helps improve your visibility in search results.
All experiences can be edited directly from the list on the right. Keep in mind that when you click “Save,” the changes are applied to all experiences at once. If any mandatory information is incomplete, a label will appear indicating which experience needs attention and what must be corrected before you can return to your profile.
